The Practice editor is designed for educational purposes for studying the WEB-Technology course in various educational institutions.
On March 21, 2020, the code of the online version of the HTML editor "Practice" was finally rewritten. As the basic core of the editor, the library of the universal text editor CodeMirror was chosen, which has a large number of modes and additions, with the help of which it is possible to implement more advanced editing functions
This editor is intended for practical work when studying a web development course in the educational process. The editor provides real-time visualization of the entered HTML code.
The timer functions show both the current time and the time spent working with the editor. Which can be useful in the case of the need to record the fact of practical work in the form of screenshots.
The local menu of the editor performs purely practical functions - cleaning the working window of the editor, storing and loading files, commenting and uncommenting the code, moving the cursor to the end or to the beginning of the document.
In the future, the capabilities of the online editor will be expanded.
The online editor "PRACTICE-CE" is easy to use and master, it will provide comfortable learning of the basics of "WEB - technologies", having an intuitive interface that is well understood even by small children. This editor was created for children. Of course, it is good when children learn to write the code of a site in a notebook, save it, and then view it in a browser. But it is much more productive and interesting to immediately see the result of your work on the computer screen.
EDITOR'S TITLE PRACTICE
In the name PRACTICE-CE, the second part is slightly shortened from the full name of the Practice code editor.
The first version of the PRACTICE editor was created precisely for practical work.
APPROBATION
PRACTICE was successfully tested during real classes, children aged 9 to 17 worked with it, and the process of acquiring skills for working with the editor was quite simple and easy. A few minutes are enough to explain the basic principles of working with the editor and the children started working with it.
My students appreciated the capabilities of the "PRACTICE" editor and used it to perform quite interesting practical work.
